The Bloom Room’s identity captures the harmony between nature and luxury. Earth tones and fine line work give the brand a sense of calm sophistication. Each element is intentionally detailed, creating a feeling of balance between structure and organic beauty. A square frame with sharp corners pairs with hand-drawn botanicals, symbolizing how refinement and imperfection coexist naturally.
The tagline, “Discover the art of life in bloom,” speaks to that connection. Everyone has a personal relationship with nature. Whether through tending a garden, finding the perfect handmade pot, or simply pausing to notice the world around us, we are all part of that same growth.
From a bird’s-eye view to a seed below.
Designing The Bloom Room’s visuals was an exploration of how far simple elements can grow into layered stories. Some of the shop’s window treatments depict a bird’s-eye view of three pots in a planter, where mirrored flower forms represent seeds taking root. This abstract yet approachable design reflects the essence of the brand: growth, discovery, and possibility.
The message is subtle but powerful: everything begins with planting a seed. Literally and figuratively. That moment of curiosity, the decision to step inside, is the start of something new.
An exclusive invitation...
The identity needed to balance three key ideas: exclusivity, relatability, and refinement. The Bloom Room feels like a secret garden...mysterious yet welcoming, elevated yet warm. The typography and visuals invite connection while maintaining a sense of quiet luxury. It’s an exclusive invitation from nature itself.
Planter boxes galore!
Planter box variations are continuously pushed through different visuals for the brand. Some are more detailed and literal, like the planter box with flowers coming out of the top and some are more minimal and abstract, like these art prints I created for the shop's interior. This continues to condition people who interact with the brand to have that innate connection to nature while maintaining the thin lines and more high-end feeling branding.
Unified Through Variation
From stationery to badge designs, intricate details define The Bloom Room’s visual language. Each floral and foliage illustration is custom and hand-drawn, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to artistry and authenticity. Every design choice reflects an invitation to bring the outdoors in. It's an elevated way to live in harmony with nature.
